Final
Probably one of the projects I had the most fun with, since it involved many "site visits for research" to Starbucks. Our team of three were tasked with creating a concept campaign for the American coffee company and coffeehouse chain, Starbucks. Customization is provided as a service (although not strongly emphasized).  Choice of ingredients are shared openly.
Based on Starbucks "Secret Menu", the website would allow users to customize drinks with a base frappuccino and ingredients, and are allowed to name and submit their drinks onto the site. Other users would be able to see other recipes and vote on them. The highest rated recipe would be put up onto Starbucks menu as drink of the month, alongside their official seasonal drinks.
Inspiration for the art direction came quick. Starbucks have a chalkboard beside their printed menus, where their talented baristas would draw their seasonal drinks with all sorts of flairs and designs. It was familiar, and always noticeable.
The microsite was designed to be simple and intuitive, with large visuals and descriptive texts of the customized recipes.
The initial tagline was "InstructOurBarista", to push the concept that customizing your frappuccino was extremely encouraged.
